Get moving.

If you’re dealing with something and you’re depressed, you’re probably spending a lot of time on the couch, depression-binge watching shows. There’s a time for that… but if it gets to the point where you’re doing it too much and not moving, things will spiral.

Tony Gjokaj (“jo-kai”) knows. And he’s committed to helping depressed people feel better in every area of life, by helping them do ONE thing… get off the couch and do some physical activity.

He knows how hopeless it can feel. As an overweight teen, he battled depression so dark that he contemplated suicide.

What helped him? Getting moving.

Did he like it? Noooooooooooo. Not one bit. Not at first.

Then he started to feel better, move better, look better, sleep better, and think better. As he got in shape, his depression and anxiety faded into the background. So, it’s no surprise that when he decided to build a million-dollar brand, he was his own avatar.

But here’s the thing with depression: It makes exercising seem nearly impossible and completely unappealing.

Well, until Reforged came along. Tony designed Catalyst, his nootropic-rich pre workout, to close the gap between “I really should get up and move” and “MAN, that was a good workout!”

A member of the Capitalism Incubator, Tony’s been running Facebook Challenges to keep growing his audience. He learned how by going through the 6 Figures Per Month In 6 Months course included in The One Percent.

Fresh Content Made Daily

Tony makes the following content every week and posts short vids to his profiles daily:

  • A weekly live show in our Facebook Group that gets turned into a YouTube Video and Podcast.
  • Short Clips about exercise, nutrition, sleep on mental health.
  • Short Clips directly from our show.
  • Short Clips recapping the show.
  • Short Clips telling the stories of our guys and the progress they've made on their mental health journey.

And it’s working! His audience is growing - and his sales right along with it. Currently, he’s got 30 reviews on Amazon and is on a quest to reach 100. The testimonials are amazing.

He shares:

One of my high school friends just contacted me and told me about his story and how my content has been helping him SO MUCH. He has lost nearly 100 lbs and will be posting a video about his journey so far on YouTube. We are sitting down to talk tonight and how I can serve him on his journey, and how he can help my brand.

I didn't even know he was watching my stuff, which is pretty cool. Another reminder to serve your person and people will come to you to help your brand grow.

Even if they're not visibly engaging with your stuff, they be PEEPIN' 👀

The Key Is Going All-In on Your Person

Tony will admit that putting yourself out there on social media can be tough - especially when you’re just starting.

But not serving your person that is in desperate need of what your brand has to offer is worse.

I would rather have trolls post "so you're saying that *insert something absolutely outlandish*" than the people in my audience potentially losing their lives (literally or metaphorically) because I'm too fearful of judgment.

Your dedication to WHO you serve makes the trolls just a fart in the wind. They stink but they disappear right after.

Couldn’t put it any better, Tony.

Chapter 2: Reforged and Revitalized - Tony Gjokaj Beats Burnout and Grows His Brand

Are you feeling like a couch potato with a side of depression? Tony Gjokaj has the antidote to get you moving and feeling better in no time! As a former overweight teen who battled with depression and contemplated suicide, Tony knows firsthand the power of physical activity in improving mental health.

But let's be real, depression makes it hard to even get out of bed, let alone work out. That's where Reforged comes in, with Tony's nootropic-rich pre workout, Catalyst, designed to turn your "shoulds" into "wows!"

His new product, Drift will have you seizing the night like never before! With a potent combination of L-Theanine and Lemon Balm to calm your nerves, Melatonin to help you fall asleep faster, and L-Glycine and Magnesium Glycinate to keep you snoozing soundly, Drift will have you waking up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

We started documenting Tony’s journey on the road to $1 million a while back… now it’s time for an update. Tony knows a thing or two about overcoming obstacles. From burnout to 3PL woes, running almost out of stock with Drift (more OTW!), and getting a “we done like your label today, so we’re taking your preworkout out” message from the big A (new label stock en route), he’s seen some things. But he’s also just had his best sales month evahhhh.

Insights from the Ups and Downs

Tony’s not one to let setbacks get him down. Instead, he's found a way to reinvigorate his business and shift his mindset, and we asked him to share his insights with you.

Let's start with burnout. Tony knows what it's like to feel like you're running on fumes, and he's got some tips to help you avoid hitting that wall. For starters, he recommends taking care of your mental health. Whether it's through exercise, meditation, or therapy, find a way to decompress and prioritize your well-being.

But that's just half the battle. Tony also stresses the importance of finding balance in your work life. That means taking breaks when you need them, setting realistic goals, and learning to say no when you're feeling stretched too thin. It's all about finding what works for you and making it a non-negotiable part of your routine.

Of course, sometimes burnout isn't entirely within your control. Tony experienced this firsthand when he ran into some 3PL issues. But instead of throwing in the towel, he took action. He ended his relationship with the problematic company and began searching for a new third-party logistics partner. And he learned a valuable lesson in the process: don't just go with the first recommendation you hear. Do your research, ask around, and make sure you're making the right choice for your business.

Mindset Matters

But perhaps Tony's biggest takeaway from his experiences is the power of mindset. When he found himself struggling with communication issues with his manufacturer, he realized that a simple shift in perspective could make all the difference. Instead of getting frustrated, he picked up the phone and had a conversation. (Phones can make calls??? Freaky.) And just like that, the problem was solved.

Tony's learned that mindset is key in all aspects of business. Whether you're dealing with setbacks, managing relationships, or just trying to stay motivated, having a positive and growth-oriented mindset can make all the difference. It's about embracing challenges as opportunities, learning from your mistakes, and always striving for improvement.

And speaking of learning, Tony has some tips for those looking to up their YouTube game. For starters, he recommends keeping it authentic. Don't try to be someone you're not, and don't be afraid to show your personality. People want to connect with real people, not just a polished brand image.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't put effort into your content. Tony stresses the importance of quality over quantity, and of finding a niche that you're truly passionate about. And don't be afraid to experiment and try new things. YouTube is all about creativity and innovation, so don't be afraid to push boundaries and have fun with it.

Tony's journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the importance of mindset. By staying positive, embracing challenges, and putting in the hard work, he's built a thriving business that's making a real difference in people's lives. So if you're feeling burned out, stuck, or just in need of a mindset shift, take a page out of Tony's book and keep pushing forward. The road may be bumpy, but the destination is worth it.
